Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) is one of the academic departments under China Reform Forum. CSS focuses on strategic issues of China’s foreign policies, international politics and relations, arms control and non-proliferation, and challenges of globalization, covering subjects on major powers relations, regional security, anti-terrorism, climate change, cyber security, multilateral mechanisms, etc.

CSS is supported by Advisory Group and Expert Group, which consist of senior and distinguished experts and scholars in their respective areas, providing research consultation and deliberation on subjects, carrying out research programs and academic exchange activities. CSS sets up relevant programs and projects every year, works on relevant report and books, vigorously constructs an exchange platform for experts and decision-makers home and abroad, providing valuable policy recommendations for the governments.
