A Delegation From Nepal Non-Governmental Organizations Visited CRF

On 17 December 2014, Tamla Ukyab, the former Nepali consul general in Lhasa, leading a delegation of more than 20 representatives from Nepal non-governmental organizations, visited CRF.

Members of the delegation included Dr. Sarbottam Shrestha, Arniko Society President, Mr. Narayan Prasad Sapkota, President of Nepal-China Friendship Society (Lumbini), Prakash Babu Paudel, President of Nepal-China Youth Friendship Association, President of the Arniko Society of Nepal and Nepal-China Cultural and Educational Association.

Zhang Qi, director of the China Center for Poverty Reduction Research at Beijing Normal University, and Cui Chunlai, deputy Secretary General of China NGO Network for International Exchanges (CNIE), were invited to attend this meeting. Zhang Jia, Secretary General of China Refrom Forum, moderated this meeting, and Professor Zhang Qi gave an indroduction of achievements and experiences of China's poverty reduction and alleviation work. Tamla Ukyab expressed hopes for the further experiences sharing on poverty relief issues.
