CRF and Aspen Center Held Sixth High-Level Strategic Dialogue in Beijing

China Reform Forum and Aspen Center held the sixth high-level strategic dialogue in Beijing on June 10. More than 30 scholars from China and India attended the dialogue.

 

CRF chairman He Yiting and India's former special envoy to Afghanistan S K Lambah gave their speeches. CRF vice chairman Ni Jianmin and senior adviser Gen.Ge Zhenfeng also spoke at the meeting.

The two sides discussed the issues of "Current Situation in Asia and Enhancing China-India Mutual Political Trust", "China-India Security Cooperation: Regional Security, Counter Terrorism and Maritime Cooperation", "Prospects for China-India Trade Cooperation" and "Interaction of Civilizations and Cultural Exchange Between China and India". Both sides expressed their interest in strengthening bilateral relations and international cooperation, and had high hopes for effective resolution of border disputes.
