Brief Introduction
朝鲜半岛和平研究中心成立于2006年1月，是中国改革开放论坛所属的一个研究部门。“中心”以朝鲜半岛的安全问题为核心，研究范围涵盖所有朝鲜半岛问题。
A research division of China Reform Forum, the Center for Korean Peninsula Peace Studies was founded in January 2006. Stretching to almost all Korean Peninsula affairs, the center focuses its research on the security issue.
朝鲜半岛地处东北亚核心地带，其和平问题不仅关乎地区安全，也事关中国的国家利益。有鉴于此，“中心”将密切跟踪朝鲜半岛的情况变化，根据需要设定研究项目，组织专家学者进行研究，并开展相关的对外交流活动，提交研究报告，出版公开研究成果，供相关部门参考。
Located in the heart of Northeast Asia, the Korean Peninsula is of vital importance not only to the regional security, but also the China’s national interest. In view of this, the center closely follows the changing situations of the peninsula. The center launches research projects according to demand, and is active in assembling the experts and scholars to research, conducting the external and academic exchanges. The reports of research project may be published or circulated internally, with an eye on offering food for thought for policy-making organizations.
